Windows will pop-up a confirmation window asking you whether you’re sure. Once it’s removed, the font file does not go in the Recycle Bin-it disappears forever. Ultimately without the registry value this proved to be a failure, the fonts would get copied to the fonts folder but not installed on the local machine.
